Coaching

Coaching isn’t about fixing you.

Because you aren’t broken.

Coaching is a forward-focused partnership that helps you recognize the thought patterns creating unnecessary stress and replace them with ones that are both true and useful.

Using principles from Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT), we’ll learn to recognize automatic thoughts, question the stories your brain has been telling you, and intentionally create new habits that support the teacher—and the human—you want to become.

We’ll spend less time asking,

“Why does my fourth hour make me want to scream?”

and more time asking,

“What thought would help me show up differently today?”

Imagine If…

Instead of…lying awake replaying tomorrow’s lesson…

Imagine ending the school day and actually being home.

Instead of…wondering if you’re doing enough…

Imagine trusting that your best really is enough.

Instead of…letting one difficult parent, administrator, or student hijack your week…

Imagine staying calm because your peace no longer depends on someone else’s behavior.

Instead of…surviving until the next break…

Imagine enjoying the life you’re working so hard to build.

You became a teacher because you wanted to make a difference. You love kids. And maybe you love your subject area and wanted to teach others to love it too. Maybe you believe in the power of education — that it makes lives, communities, and nations stronger. There are a lot of reasons we choose this path, but if you are here in the Room, my guess is this:

Somewhere along the way…
the job got louder than your own voice.

The Teacher Restoration Room combines Cognitive Behavioral Coaching with thirty years of experience in education to help teachers, counselors, and administrators quiet the mental noise, build resilience, and reconnect with who they are—inside and outside the classroom.

You don’t have to quit teaching to stop feeling burned out.

You just need better tools for the conversation happening inside your own head.
